YUMMERS

Sharing a love for pets, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness (“JVN”), stars of “Queer Eye,” had a mission to give every pet their best meal and their best life. They, along with Caravan, founded Yummers to transform the lives of pets everywhere with premium, gourmet mix-ins.

Love, Nala

Nala Cat was adopted into a loving home and instantly became a social phenomenon and was accepted into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the most famous cat in the world with over 11 million followers. We helped them translate that success into a wholesome and healthy cat food company.

MY ROLE

These projects allowed me to combine my passion for pets with my expertise in product management, resulting in the creation and successful launch of two thriving online platforms. I played a pivotal role in building and launching both e-commerce platforms. My responsibilities extended across the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to execution. Here are some key accomplishments that showcase my abilities as a Product Manager.

  • Strategic Vision: I formulated a comprehensive product strategy aligning with Love, Nala’s mission to provide high-quality, healthy pet food. This involved identifying market trends, understanding customer needs, and creating a roadmap for product development.
  • Shopify Expertise and Customization: I harnessed the power of Shopify to design a user-friendly and visually appealing online store for Love, Nala and Yummers. Leveraging Shopify’s extensive features, I ensured a seamless shopping experience for pet owners. Using my knowledge of over 50 different plugins, we found the right ones to work with both shops.
  • Product Expansion: I oversaw the expansion of Love, Nala’s product range by collaborating with suppliers, and launching new pet food varieties. This contributed to increased customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • User-Centric Design: User experience was at the forefront of our decision-making process. I conducted user testing, gathered feedback, and made data-driven improvements to the website, resulting in higher conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Through continuous data analysis, I fine-tuned the website, improving navigation, checkout processes, and product discoverability. This led to increased conversion rates and customer retention.
  • Accessibility Assessment and Implementation: Leveraging my knowledge in WCAG guidelines, I confirmed that both websites adhered to at least the AA-level standards. This adherence also ensured the implementation of effective SEO practices on both sites.
